Wow Young Jedi!

Another great pic! Just the other day I was going through my pics from the very same place, but none are as good as yours. I'm beginning to think you have a professional photographer traveling with you!

GEAUX Emily! At first, it's going to be a weird feeling not having the braces, but getting them off is a great day! Pasta, spinich, whatever, without anything stuck in the wires! And yes the retainer is a must do. I still wear mine every night. Definitely do not want to go through ortho again!

Logan, if they figure you will be finished with your school year after 48 pencils then sharpen them often!

Wow, I am sorry to hear that there is another setback. The site was blocked at my work, so I am a couple weeks behind, but I can now access it again. I am so glad that you have been able to have such a fun filled summer, and able to meet so many of your friends, I really enjoy all the pics your mom takes and shares. As always you will hang in there and be strong and get through this setback, and you will come out on top! I look forward to seeing more pics and more smiles, they brighten my day : )

From CT in RIC on 08/23/2010

Hey Young Jedi,

Before I could tell how great that pic of you and Amanda looked, I got a message with the news of "CLEAR SCANS!" Yes, there is a God and prayers are answered.

Back to the pic and it is the best pic yet.....if it wasn't for that famous Logan smile I would not have recognized you. No do rags, boonies, dome covers, just a head full of hair and weight gain. The west coast Doc was good for you or is it that California Girl?

Take care and remember nothing less than Wide Open Throttle!

From Marie Hahn on 08/23/2010

From Aunt Nadine & uncle Wick on 08/22/2010

Hi Logan we are so happy that you had such a good trip out west. That is a beautiful girl by your side and it sure looked like you knew it. Your grandmother has kept us updated and it sounded like you had a really big trip. We hope it was a very restful trip for all and will keep you in our thoghts and prayers for his scans dto come back perfect. Love to all of you Aunt Nadine

From Cousin Bill in Baltimore on 08/22/2010

Hey there Big Dude

I see from the pictures that you are still growing tall and looking as good as ever. So I see you are still a traveling man. Those picture of the California beach looked like you were having a great time and enjoying life. I am happy for you. I love your fantastic smile.

Whoe guy......that snake looked hungry.....I hope he didn't eat Emily while you guy were in Busch Gardens.....please tell me that Emily is OK.....that was a scary picture just looking at it....I don't know if I would have held that monster snake.

So you were also vacationing in West Virginia at your grandparents home....they have a nice place there....I was there many years ago....your grandparents are the most wonderful people....I know you enjoyed it....I love to go 4-wheeling too....it looks like you got mighty muddy.....I bet someone had to hose you down pretty good when you were finished.

I also see that you have a lot of dawgs in West Virginia.....they were looking hungry too......did you have to shoot any bears so you could feed them dawgs?....Or did those Dawgs just eat your lunch....

That is probably why you had to eat those giant pills....because the dawgs ate your lunch and you were still hungry I bet......where those pills filling....or did you have to eat some cake also?

Buddy, I am still praying for you....I still love you are hope that the sickness stays away.....so you will have to tell us about you next plans so we can follow all your adventures.....will you be going back to school soon?

Take care of yourself....tell your Mom and Dad that we love them too....also tell Emily....unless the snake ate her.....I can buy you a new sister if you want....I have eleven dollars and twenty-two cents....you probably know by now that I am a big goofy wise-guy...

C'ya big guy....best wishes....talk to you soon.

From Marie Hahn on 08/10/2010

Hey Logan!

Love the picture! Hope you are staying cool...it has been really hot in DC as well. I hope you have a good trip to California. I'll pray for clear scans. Give Emily and your mom and dad a big hug from me. Miss you guys!

XOXO,
Marie

From CT in RIC on 08/10/2010

Logan,

You must be more creative! Going to CA to visit the doctor? With a very cute and lovely young lady living in Sandee, who do you think will believe you are going to CA to see the Doc?

Hey! Didn't your Doc tell you to go forth and go wide open throttle? Well, if you follow the Doc's instructions, you should be tired, especially in this heat. So, what do we do when we get a tired? Rest, eat well to refuel and lots of fluids Young Jedi!

Take care and remember to start each morning with "CLEAR SCANS! CLEAR SCANS! CLEAR SCANS!"

CT

From sherry on 08/04/2010

What a great picture? I would like to try holding a snake, but I would want to be as far from the mouth as I could...Good luck with your scans

Hey Logan, Just wanted to wish you well with your new Chemo. I hate that old germ is back again but will be praying for you. Uncle Ronnie and I love you very much. Tell Mommy, Daddy and Ms Emily that we said hello and that we love them very much. I am praying that the new treament will help you get better really fast. Love you little buddy Aunt Norma

From Barbara, friend of Aunt Jo on 08/29/2009

Hi, Logan.
Your Aunt Jo has told me about you and that you're about to have a new round of Chemo. By the way, in case you don't already know, she loves you and your family very much. Just to let you try to picture who is writing to you, I would be considered by you to be ancient! I have 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, each of whom I adore even though I can count a dozen wrinkles for every one! ha I've helped see them through "thick and thin;" and sometimes the "thin" has been pretty disheartening. But together, and with a genuine faith that the God of Creation loves us even more than we love each other, we make it through. A lot of us here are praying for you and expecting you to be back in school "with hair" very soon. Barbara

From Nina Demosthenes @ SWA on 08/28/2009

Hi Logan,

In addition to Yoda in Star Wars, I am very fond of Merlin in the Legend of King Arthur. There is a story about Merlin when he was a young boy and still learning how to use the strength and power that was inside him. One day as he was exploring deep in the forest, he was captured by hungry cannibals and they set about getting him ready for their dinner the next day. He found himself tied to a tree as night settled in; alone, tired and frightened. He couldn't imagine how he was going to get out of this predicament. The night grew darker and as the stars lit up the sky, Merlin grew quiet . . . and it was in the stillness that Merlin knew who he was, and . . . "As easily as a breath taken, and then released on the night air, he felt the power run through him, cool and free."

Take care, young Logan. Love, Nina

From Aunt Jo on 08/28/2009

I read that an itty, bitty piece of that Bad Stuff came back, but that can happen. So what...you'll beat it again! In the days ahead, I'll be thinking of you, Logan. Dear Davis Family,

Not only is your post a hard one to write but it is a hard one to read. We have believed for a clean bill of health and it is difficult not receiving that. You are so good to tell us all the good and the bad. Helps us know how to remember you in our prayers.

Personally speaking, it was so good to see you at Higher Power Aviation offices prior to your visit at Southwest Airlines. Your family is a joy to us. We are still laughing about how Logan and the HPA rockets. Hope the rubber bands aren't broken by now from all the usage.

God bless you all. We love you dearly.

Wow! =( I happened to run across this page when I was googling information about the type of cancer that I was just diagnosed with little less than a month ago, at the age of 20. I have Extra Occeus Ewing's Sarcoma. Mine just happens to be in my brain! I started chemotherapy last Monday! It was grueling. Round 2 is this coming monday. Logan seems like a very very strong boy, and I will keep him in my prayers. Following his story and sat back and cried because I can compare to this strong little man. I myself have to be hospitalized for all my treatments and will under go chemo for 30 weeks and radiation for 24! We will survive! Good luck Logan and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I have a site on Facebook called " Praying for Katie Rainwater" check it out if you feel up to it.

Good luck and God Bless You!
