Good morning Young Warrior and Happy Valentine's Day!

I'll bet that you guys have the only snow cupcake in VA Beach! Can we expect to see sand cupcakes this summer on the beach?

I am sure that you will receive a few Valentines chocolates today so I'll send you a special Valentines thank you for all the inspiration you give us. Seriously, little Jedi, when the aches and pains of old age start holding me back, I think you you and work through it.

Rest up, get rid of that ear infection, and remember our battle cry......

Yea Logan!
I hope you know how many people from Athens (and vicinity) are in your corner, but you are the fighter of the new century! I am so happy today that I could dance around in our snow...I'm too stiff to make snow angels. Yours was great. Virginia Beach has about every thing that I know you enjoy.
Say hi to everyone. I know your grand parents and Feather are with you so we will look forward to hearing all about your MRI soon. Love, hugs, and kisses!

Now, rest up and get those counts back up so you can put Number 9 behind you and make this battle history!

Hey Logan! You look great in the winter wonderland photo. Put your mark on everything, young warrior! Let's hope for a very pretty (but safe) weekend with another light dusting. If we get enough, Amy and David and Mr. Yeh will come over to help you write "LOGAN DAVIS WAS HERE!!!" in the snow. I will sacrifice and keep your mom busy in the kitchen making a great snack for your return!

Love,
Mrs. Yeh

From Mary & Larry Glover on 02/05/2010

Loved the picture you posted. Logan and the family are always in our prayers. All of the ladies here at the Library (and alot of our patrons) are also keeping you in their prayers. We are expecting great news next week.

From CT in RIC on 02/05/2010

Logan,

Did you bring all this snow with you from WVA?

How's home schooling going? When I was your age I did home schooling for a while. I hope you are not bummed out because home schooling can be a good deal. You will get one on one help if you have a problem area. If you get tired, you can take a rest break, so that when you see your friends after "school," you won't be trying to keep up with the pack, you will be the leader of the pack! But most importantly, you are never far away from the frig or the cookie jar!

Take care young warrior and remember...... we are not hoping to pass next week's tests, we are going to pass all the tests with flying colors!

Logan, Do you believe the snow this year? Not sure if you got the latest over the weekend, but here in Northern Virginia, we've had two snows, both giving us a recod for the month. There may be two more inches tomorrow night and nobody is predicting wht the weekend will bring. Don't put your sled away.

Sounds like you've been getting to school quite a bit. That's terrific! I'm teaching in a trailer this year. I taught in one last year, too, buth this year it's in the front of the building whereas lat year it was in the back. Moving up in the world!! It's a bit of a bummer going in and out in this cold weather, but when the sun shines, I get to see it! Otherwise, I would miss daylight entirely some days.

We're off to Moscow for President's Day weekend (even though the Monday holiday may become a snow make-up day). My old school there is celebrating its 60th anniversary. I'm preparing a PowerPoint of things we did in the 70's, the first of our 3 assignments in Moscow. We'll be gone from Friday night through Wednesday. Then I'll be wishing for another snow day instead of work on Thursday!!!

Take care of yourself! Watch for the groundhog's report tomorrow.

Love, Joe and Harriet
