Logan's Messages

From Bob Torti on 01/30/2010

Logan,
Just a quick note to say, you are always in my Prayers, and you and your family are very 'Special People". You have so many people behind you, so please keep fighting and someday we will ALL have the biggest party in the world.

From Aunt Jo on 01/29/2010

Hi Logan,
I've shown your snow pictures to my friends in Athens and they all ask me to tell you how impressed they are at your "metal" in this fight.
Wish you were at your grandparents so we could talk on Paltalk, but we think of you and telephone calls help us hear your voice which makes us buck up and be as brave as you.
I'm so happy to hear you are feeling better. love and kisses (everyday) j

Great news on your blood counts Logan!! We are thrilled!

From The Yeh's on 01/28/2010

Hi Logan,

We took a vote at our house and decided Mr.Yeh should represent our family at the blood drive in your honor. Wasn't that brave of the rest of us? He was so sweet, he came home and gave David the oven mitt (David will have to come by to do his ventriloquist act with his side kick "Mitty"), and everypne got a Valentine with candy from you. Now we all feel a litle badly we didn't all come! Amy looked on the intenet and found she can donate when she's 16 next spring, David will have to wait a few more years.

So glad you're feeling better today. Don't forget to do a snow dance and wear your pajamas inside out tonight to improve our chances of a snow-in this weekend!!!

Mrs. Yeh

I'm so glad the blood drive was a success. Most certainly blood is a very important and precious part of the Force that each of us has within us. It's beautiful to see what you have inspired in everyone who donated so generously in your honor. As always, young Logan, I send all the good healing energy that I have gathered especially for you. Be well.

Your friend, Nina

From Cheryl on 01/27/2010

It is really awesome to see friends and family come together for the blood drive...What a great thing....Hang in there Logan...

From Sam Green on 01/27/2010

Hey Logan - I'm sorry its been so long for me to write! School has been good and I got really good grades on my report card at Christmas - so Santa brought me a Wii! My sister and I play alot - but I really love Lego Star Wars the most and she gets mad because my friends told me about all the secret stuff and I beat her bad all the time. She is good on Wii Sports - and loves to knock me out in boxing. She knocks out my Mom all the time. I got my Arrow of Light in Scouts and that means I passed all my requirements in Cub Scouting. It's really cool. I'll send you a copy of a picture of me and my Dad. I get to camp out with the Boy Scouts on Friday at a lock in - luckily inside - cause it's gonna be icy and snowy. Hooray its the 27th - which means you begin to feel human again! We pray for you everynight at bedtime! Hope you don't see your shadow on Groundhog Day. ha ha

Hi Logan:
We are so excited for you with this new venture of the Blood Drive. The Red Cross could not have found a sweeter, braver, or more gentlemanly poster boy than they have in you. We can't wait to join you there. God Bless you, Honey.

I know the blood drive will be successful - wish I could contribute, but I can't. What troopers Logan and your family are. Our love and prayers are with you. You certainly instill in a lot of us your strength and unbounding courage.

From Joan Karl on 01/21/2010

Hi Regina & Logan,

I am glad Logan has been energized with his transfusion. I would love to stop by but I probably would not be a candidate for donation. My husband has a appt. with his primary doctor at 2:00p.m. It will depend on how he is doing. I drive him everywhere as he can no longer drive. I have a son that is always donating blood. He might be able to go depending on his work schedule.
I have a large box of beanie babies and would like to donate them to CHKD in honor of Logan. He might be able to make the rounds giving to children. Let me know how you feel about it. I could meet you downtown or some convenient place.

From Rob (SWA) on 01/20/2010

Logan, After I sent the last message, I checked out the Red Cross web site. I think I can give after all! I hope I get to see you on the 26th!

Rob

From Rob (SWA) on 01/20/2010

WOW! They are having the blood drive in your honor. I'm impressed. Wish I could come and give, but I had Melanoma a couple of years ago so they won't let me give for a while. I hope everyone that can will show up on this very special day! Stay healthy and happy young Jedi!

From Carmen on 01/10/2010

What fun it looks like you and your Dad are having! I'm glad to see that you are feeling stronger and can have a day to enjoy the fresh (COLD) air! It makes me shiver just to look at you! You are one tough young man! Stay strong!!

From Joe and Harriet on 01/08/2010

Logan, It sure looks like you enjoy the snow. It's cold though, isn't it?

The weatherman tells us this weekend will have highs in the 20's, but back to normal by Wednesday or so. (Thank goodness! I feel like I'm prcticing for Moscow in February.) Anyway average highs for the next two weeks are in the 40's. I can't believe I'm looking forward to the temperature getting UP to the 40's.

We had a 2 hour delayed opeing to school this morning because of a dusting of snow overnight. Nothing like the 16.4 inches that got us out for the holidays three days early, but then we still have fewer parking spaces due to piles of snow that haven't melted.

Hope you'll have more and more days at school and fewer and fewer visits to the hospital. Misses from Northern Virginia!

From Gail on 01/08/2010

Wow, what a great pix, and what great fun. If you're gonna have snow that's the way to do it! Wish I was there (for about two hours!). Call me when you want your present!

Hey Little Buddy, We are still having snow up here in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. It has snowed a little everyday since December 18 and tomorrow we are suppose to have a major snow fall. Johnny and Emily have not gone back to school from their Christmas break because of the snow fall and slippery roads. They are loving the snow. Hope your week starts to get better. Tell Dad, Mom and Ms Emily that we said hello and we love them. Guess What we reallllllllllllly love you. Aunt Norma

From Ms. Cynthia on 01/04/2010

Hi Logan, Emily, Regina and AJ. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!! Man, what beautiful snow! Sounds like the West Virginia trip was wonderful. We never get snow ---lucky guys. Of course, Regina and Emily I don't know if I would have been able to do the drive thru the mountain pass. I'd look like a curled up spider - I have to stay warm.
We are FREEZING down here in Florida thought. But, not lucky enough for snow. Sara (Logan- you don't remember her but your mom has pictures of her) went to Baltimore the week before Christmas and was in 2 feet of snow. She really enjoyed that. She didn't mind making her mother crazy with worry and that I had to call every 2 hours to "check on her".
Everyone is thinking good thoughts of and for you all. I think I may need to come up for a tickle attack on you....do you think you could promise me snow if I come?
My love to you all and I'll call you Regina. Logan - what was that game we played when I was there? I can't remember the name of it and I told my other daughter, Laura about it. Let me know. And promise me that we can play , hummmmmm I think we'll play 20 games this time (IF you let me win at least 5 of them).
Hugs, kisses, love Cynthia

From Nina Demosthenes @ SWA on 01/04/2010

It sounds like you have had quite an adventure out there in WVA; definitely a Christmas to remember! How was the ride in Mr. Mike's plane? Santa may have a sleigh and raindeers, but he doesn't travel better than you!

Take care young warrior and keep dazzling us with that smile,
