Hey Logan, Hope you are doing well. The next time I come to visit I want to pet the donkey and see the big cow. That sounds like fun and you know how I like animals. Hope you have a good halloween and get lots of treats. Tell Mommy, Daddy and Ms Emily that we miss and love them. And you know that we love you verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry much. Lovulittlebuddy...Aunt Norma

PS. Give Skittles a hug for me.

From CT in RIC on 10/30/2009

Hi Logan,

Those pics of you with the New York sure brought back some memories. I grew up down the road from where she was built and worked there. Which ship do you like best; the Wisconsin or the New York?

Take care young Jedi; enjoy those days with the animals; and please pass along to Mr. Tommy that he has some great looking fencing out there!

I LOVE THAT SHIP! And I love the note from your Mom (or is it your Dad).. it stood high above the rest! I'm so happy that you got to go see it! I hope you get lots of fun company the next two weeks - and I promise you, Sydney can vouch for the "Swine Flu" - she was down on the couch - flat out for 4 days! You get enough of that stuff! You deserve all the good feelin' days in the world! So hold on - there will be many, many school days to come!

Hugs to you all! Judy G.

Yo, what's up? It's me Sydney. I thought it would be good if I sent you a letter on the computer. And I just wanted to say hi, and tell you that I'm going to be a Sweetheart Vampire this Halloween. Do you know what I'm going to do at my Church Halloween party called Boo-Out? I'm gonna win a fish and feed it to my cats when it dies. And I just want to say that I really like your Jango Fett costume and I saw the balloon spider hat on Emily and that was kind of cute. And just want to tell you, I hope you have a good Halloween this year and you get lots of candy.

PS I like Pie, yes I do. I like Pie, how 'bout you?

From Sam Green on 10/24/2009

Boba Fett Say Yo, Daddy! I'm going to be Boba Fett for Halloween. Considering that Jango Fett is Boba Fett's Father, I thought it would be cool to write. I like your costume. I think it is awesome. I will send you a picture soon.

PS I like Pie! (if you watch Back at the Barnyard, you will understand this)

I just want to stop in to say a little something, My 11 year old nephew just found out he has Ewing's Sarcoma, We are located at Ruby Memoral Hospital in West Virginia. I stepped out last night and when I came back to the room there was a pillow case laying on the end of his bed with a little note and story about Logan. My nephew is so hurt and confused about how this came about, he also things that the word cancer means "The End" We keep tellin him to stay strong, that you have to fight this, and yes there is going to be some parts that your not going to like but its to help get you better, but most of all I would really like to thank you for the pillow case and I wish that your brave little boy logan could meet my nephew to tell him its going to be ok. He just started his first treatments of chemo last night and hes got to do it for a year and then mabey radation to follow, but anyway Thank you again for the pillow case and may god bless my nephew Dakota Skiles and you son Logan Davis, In my Eyes You guys are worries, stay srong and hopefully one day they might find a cure for this Illness. The Southwest Family ROCKS!! It's great that they send you goodies like that. We hope you ALL get rested up from your busy week.

From CT in RIC on 10/11/2009

Good morning Young Warrior,

For several weeks I've been wanting to write and tell you how much I admire how you stay "up" even when you have "down" days. Logan, you have the heart of a winner.

Yesterday, I was watching the Boston College/Virginia Tech game and learned of BC's All American Linebacker, Mark Herzlich, who was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma last May. Mark is now anticipating returning to his team for the 2010 season.

Logan, your medical professionals went to the same schools as Mark's. Your treatments are just as leading edge as Mark's. And support groups? Your Mom, your Dad, Emily, your family, friends of your family, your SouthWest family, your church and school friends.....no one has a stronger support group; no one.

Mark Herzlich is not a cancer survivor Logan, he is a cancer winner! You will be a cancer winner also Logan. Why? Because like Mark, you have the heart of a winner!

Take care young Jedi and FIGHT ON!

Logan,

That is a great pic of you and your Uncle Ron. I can not believe how fast you are growing. Just four months ago you were a little Frogman and now you're taller than your Uncle Ron!

No more complaints about the hair young man! If I thought I'd look as good as your uncle (and Dad!) I'd take a Bic to my hair in a heartbeat! AND, if it got a little cold, I would get a cool looking hat like your Grand Pa Jack's!

Take care,

Logan, and Emily must slow down! I can't up with the congratulations for your achievements!

Emily, congrats on earning your permit. I loved the " I'm not leaving this place without it" look on your face. Go Girl! Keep raising that bar for your brother! I'm sure he'll keep up with you.

Young Jedi, that is a super picture of you in your uniform and what a great pin to be awarded! At the rate you're going, you'll need two uniforms to display all your badges and pins!

EMILY! The driving machine! Hooray! Did you know that when I got my license - not permit - that my Mom let me go to the grocery store right after I got home from the DMV with my license! It was so awesome! Now I would rather get a root canal sometimes then go to the grocery store! Enjoy the freedom - and responsibility. Be defensive! There are some real "gems" out there behind the wheel. Just let 'em go on their merry way - or as my nephew's Great Grandpa used to say: "See ya later, Tired of livin'!" Too Funny! I yell it at the "nuts" on the interstate going about 90 on street bikes! lol Hugs, Judy G.
